We tried to nod to all that glam classic rock while creating a variety of different music. But at the same time I wanted to make music that was really modern and current and poppy too. I love commercial pop music   -Adam Lambert

 

Millions of fans watched Lambert's stunning performances on the eighth season of " American Idol " and now those millions of fans are waiting for the release of the album and Adam's first single, which Adam introduced on Ryan Seacrest 's radio show Oct. 30. "For Your Entertainment" was written by Claude Kelly (" Circus " by Britney Spears ) and Dr. Luke ("I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry and "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne , "Right Round" by Flo Rida , along with multiple singles by Kelly Clarkson ) ...  

Remember the hot girl who flaunted herself into the televised portion of "American Idol" last year (and even scored a solo spot in the finale) by turning up to audition in a bikini? We all know her as bikini girl, but her real name is actually Katrina Darrell and yes, she's really going places. Or so she says.

If you think Adam Lambert has already shocked you to the point that he can't shock you anymore, think again. It's "Mad World" round two when the "American Idol" Season 8 runner-up announced on Oct. 27 via his Twitter account, the album cover for his debut album, "For Your Entertainment." The cover art must be aiming to live up to the album title.
